LED FOG LIGHTS

Hello every body! I need your help in my new installation . I have bought led fog lights from Super Skoda for Octavia O2 Fl . My car is 2007 Vrs which i have made complete face lifting 2010 . I want to install but the problem is when i make the connection i saw in my dash for chek for damaged lamp, can any body tell me what is going wrong?

LEDs in your new lights have lower impedance than regular bulbs which makes the damage lamps check system thinks that there is a broken bulb somewhere. The solution is to put an extra impedance to LEDs.

I have to correct mischicka :P

 

LEDs have much higher impedance than shandard bulbs with fillaments. Because of that the current consumption is much much lower and therefore it is out of the range the control unit expect. As result You see error light on the dash.

 

You can install somewhere by the fogs high power resistors with impedance around 47 ohm and power rating 50W (20W could do the job, but to have some "space" 50W is better).
